Robert Krisch has been writing, directing and editing projects in NY and LA for the past two decades.
Rob began his career in the film program at the University of Texas at Austin in the late 90s, soaking in lectures from the likes of Rick Linklater and Robert Rodriguez. He soon started directing and editing several award-winning student short films. Shortly thereafter, he headed to New York City to start his professional career. |

At Manhattan Transfer Post, Rob assisted on feature films such as Zoolander, Y Tu Mama Tambien, as well as hit TV shows like Sex and the City and Oz. Rob soon moved from assistant to editor at the creative editorial boutique Northern Lights Post (MTV’s Cribs, Bravo’s Inside the Actors’ Studio). At NLP, Rob cut a variety of projects including commercials for Saatchi and Saatchi and longformat pieces for Bravo, IFC, and WE. But the freelance world would soon call. Since going freelance in 2003, Rob has cut over 250 long format TV shows for channels such as Bravo, MTV, Disney, Ovation, TLC, the Food Network, WE, CMT, Travel, ESPN, IFC and others. His projects have earned a total of 21 Emmy nominations including 11 Emmy awards. In 2007, Rob was nominated for an Emmy for editing Everyday Italian, and in 2008 he helped accept the show’s Emmy award for best lifestyle program. |
